About InDesign
Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing application used for creating anything from leaflets and posters to newsletters and magazines. Graphics files, photographs and text files can be imported into InDesign documents to build a complete multi-page document which contain text, pictures and graphics.
Adobe InDesign has acquired many features from Adobe Illustrator and a few from from PageMaker and from Quark Xpress - as well as a some new features - which make Adobe InDesign very powerful software for creative multi-page document design. The one downside of InDesign is its' slow speed and its' stability - which for many people is a problem (certainly with Adobe InDesign CS2).
