About Dreamweaver
Macromedia Dreamweaver (now Adobe Dreamweaver since Macromedia merged with Adobe) is web design software for designing and editing web pages. It is a WYSIWYG editor with colour coded XHTML editing. It has strong support for Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and all major scripting languages, it has the ability to work with various multimedia elements and with databases. The use of templates makes managing larger sites easy and it has built in file management and the ability to check and update file links in your site as well as FTP the files to your web site.
Dreamweaver is the preferred software of many professional web designers. Dreamweaver has good integration with other Macromedia software such as Fireworks and Flash. These applications were previously available as Macromedia Studio. Dreamweaver is now available as part of the Adobe Creative Suite 3 - Web.
Dreamweaver Training
Dreamweaver training is usually for 1 to 3 days.
One day of beginners Dreamweaver training will enable you create and edit
simple web pages.
The 2 and 3 day intermediate and advanced courses will give you the necessary
skills to build and maintain a professional web site.
