Advanced web design with Dreamweaver & Fireworks - course summary

This is a customisable course which will be based on working through your own ideas and projects - within the scope of the course outline below.

It is designed to follow on from the Dreamweaver & Fireworks Web Design Introduction, and to expand on the skills and techniques already learned. The course can also include looking at effective content writing, Meta tags and website management.

The course may be either one or two days, or may be combined with elements from the Dreamweaver and Fireworks Web Design Introduction, to create a custom course.

If you are already familiar with Adobe Photoshop then Photoshop also may be included as part of the course, instead of, or as well as, Fireworks.

Course duration: 2 days (or 1 day selective course)
Level: intermediate to advanced
Software:
Web Design:   Dreamweaver MX, Dreamweaver MX2004, Dreamweaver 8.
Web Graphics and images:  Fireworks MX, Fireworks MX2004, Fireworks 8.
Numbers: One to one or small groups of up to 4
Trainees in a group should have the same skill level and the same requirements.

Course Requirements:
It is assumed that you already have reasonable computer skills, including file management. You should have previous experience of web design, preferably with Dreamweaver, and be able to design a basic small web site from scratch. You should also be familiar with basic image editing, web graphics design and image optimisation with software such as Macromedia Fireworks or Adobe Photoshop.
See  Dreamweaver and Fireworks (1) Web Design Introduction if you need more basic web design training.
